Our Mission Statement
Flourish Your Faith Ministries, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to plant and water seeds of faith through the power of the Holy Spirit. Our goal and prayer is that these seeds of faith will flourish in the hearts of Christians, drawing them into an ever deeper, more intimate, and more powerful relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another. Flourish Your Faith Ministries seeks to accomplish its mission through conferences, blogs, retreats, film-making, and assistance to the poor.
Why we encourage eyes of faith and hearts of prayer
Flourish Ministries is here to remind us of the significance of the spiritual dimension in every good work we undertake. We encourage you to tackle each pressing social issue with eyes of faith and hearts of prayer for the following reasons:
In order to bear fruit in any undertaking, we must remain intimately united to Christ.“Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit because without me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
We need to work out of true love for God and neighbor--If we solve all the world’s problems but do not have love, we gain nothing.“If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.” (1 Cor 13:3)
Rather than getting caught up in the culture wars and fighting against those we should be trying to love, eyes of faith will show us who our real enemies are: the devil and sin.“Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil. For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens...In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all [the] flaming arrows of the evil one.” (Ephesians 6:11-12,16)
Seeing today’s social issues with eyes of faith will keep hope alive in our hearts during inevitable times of suffering.“My kingdom does not belong to this world.” (John 18:36) “For this momentary light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to what is seen but to what is unseen; for what is seen is transitory, but what is unseen is eternal.” (2 Cor 4:17-18)
Our board of directors and staff are Catholics who want to live their faith more fully and encourage you to do the same. We look forward to working together to make this world a better place, and most importantly, to reach the Best Place when our journey is done.
